Christmas Day~ 2010

Thinking of my mom and dad today as John and I are very tired from staying up late to put the presents out! My parents never looked tired......

Haliey is up before 8a.m. it is a miracle!!!!

Wyatt~ Asked me year, after he had confessed that he knew about Santa...... "Why do you and Santa have the same wrapping paper this year?"

I told him that I had to borrow some from him this year because I had lost mine~

I can't believe that I got everything I wanted~~~~~~~

We are so blessed! I am so happy to have great kids, a loving husband and wonderful friends and family.

Gingerbread Fun

Haliey 15 (2010) cute gingerbread house....

Her house has a Santa on the roof.

Wyatt 9 (2010) Wyatt decorated his with frosting all over the yard and as you can see he ate alot too.

I think that they enjoyed eatting as much as making them..........

Gingerbread Houses from scratch, sure we can do this........ 6 hours later we were done...

I remember when my family made gingerbread houses and how much fun we had as my mother made the frosting from scratch, food coloring to make the different colors. I remember bowls of candy and lots of fun..........

...........What I learned after my experiance from scratch is the reason that our gingerbread houses were made out of gramcrakers and not gingerbread. This was good thinking mom and I will follow suit if I get brave enough to do this again!!!
